a phindus draws:

Sure, why not!
I’ll just keep humming this tune thanks to this drawing.

bees-and-spice:

Al, call me ‘brother’.

thanks to Phindus’ drawing of the second time Ed asked Alfons this question, I thought of the first time.

I hope they were avid penpals and drinking buddies after the Promised Day. It’s past my bedtime so no lettering tonight!

Y’know given that Edward never told Alfons about the fact that Al was a suit of armor it’s really no wonder Alfons had a hard time believing Ed’s stories about his and Al’s adventures.

I mean Al sort got his head punched off 80% of the time, including the incident Ed tells Alfons during the car ride in the beginning of CoS.

Edward asks a second time if Alfons would call him “brother”.This time Alfons hears him.

Does anyone else remember Scar talking to his arm like it could talk back
Also Ed turned his not!Mom homunculus (momunculus?) into ethanol because of reasons
Oh, 2003 anime.
But it’s weird, I remember Sloth made a point of very much not liking being shoehorned into a mothering role, and suddenly at the end she’s like, “Oh shit the bros need more manpain, ummmm clean up after each other or whatever, do brotherly shit I don’t know what do moms say in this situation anyways SLOTH OUT”
but I legit haven’t watched that show since freshman year of high school so I could be entirely wrong

It might be because I’ve had half a bottle of whiskey due to a crappy-ass month/week/day/life, but this made my night.

This lady was just talking to the national police begin them to stop the attack that began on a residential neighborhood at 4am today, she was also pleading for them to stop detaining students and protesters….that was the answer she got when she turned around…tear gas in her face. Peace? Democracy? Or more like a dictatorship with no respect whatsoever for human rights

I think you're misinterpreting that person's post, if it's the post I think you're talking about. I mean, that person writes fanfic herself. She wasn't calling out all fanfic/fanart writers, just those who act like people who discuss the pros and cons of each version of FMA and debate about it are "oppressing them" or "not getting the crossover potential" or whatever. They're different ways of engaging with a work of art, and neither way is superior.

There’s definitely a chance of me misunderstanding the post in question, hence me opting for the brownie instead.

I wonder if the sentence:
"fan artists/writers who act like debaters are oppressing them."
might be a misunderstanding as well?

Maybe the former is concerned with the tone the debates take?
Maybe both sides of the latter are just having fun?
Maybe there’s a lot of assumption going around that gives way for no concrete facts, but a lot of teeth grinding?

Bottomline is, I don’t think anyone’s superior, but we’re all responsible of our own behavior.

i’ve no idea but brownies are always good

They sure are~.

If you’re thinking of the post I saw that made me think the exact same thing… well. Maybe we should just have a brownie party either way. :/
